H2.com sold for $240,000 in the week ending September 8 — an outright, portable transfer that needed no platform’s permission and carried no revocation clause. Fragment usernames settle on-chain and come closest to that standard; X’s Handle Marketplace grants only a “limited, revocable, non-transferable license”; WhatsApp usernames can’t be resold at all. Treating these three as one asset class means pricing three different rights as if they were the same thing.
Vietnam’s Cooling Plan Targets a 97% Emissions Cut. No Bank Will Finance the Retrofit.

Vietnam’s National Cooling Action Plan commits to a 97% cut in refrigeration emissions by 2045 and a full HCFC phase-out by 2040 — but a 2026 review found no tax break, subsidy, or preferential retrofit loan exists to fund it, and banks can’t yet verify projected energy savings. Cooling already consumes over 25% of national electricity and could triple in demand by 2030, leaving building owners to fund compliance with no financing path before the phase-down dates land.
IPOS Froze Its Patent Fast-Track for Eight Months and Never Explained Why

IPOS suspended SG Patents Fast and SG Trade Marks Fast on January 4, 2026, and reopened them September 1 — with no public reason given for the freeze, the resumption, or what an internal review found, and no change to fees, eligibility, or timelines on either side of it. Filers who built licensing or prosecution deadlines around the four-month or six-week clock had no fallback; the only precedent IPOS has set is that the fast lane can close without warning and reopen without explanation.
