Three things that crossed our desk this week.

Green Mark v7’s April 2027 Cutoff Forces a Certification Bet on ASEAN Building Owners

Energy Intelligence

Singapore’s BCA closed new applications under the decade-old Green Mark 2021 standard as of April 1, 2027, replacing it with Green Mark v7’s seven-tier energy rating system and a new portfolio-certification path for multi-asset landlords. Owners now have a seven-month window to decide whether to finish under the old rubric or bank the new SLE70 tier, which for the first time credits alternative cooling technologies toward compliance. Lenders writing green loans are already being briefed on the new tiers, not the old ones.

A Zero-Identity Wallet Can Now Move Fragment’s $2.2 Million Usernames

Fragment Economy

Telegram’s Gram Wallet, rolled out August 31 with zero identity verification required to open, fund, or use, now lets any of Telegram’s billion-plus users directly hold and move Fragment usernames — the collectible-handle asset class that set a $2.2 million single-sale record in February. Buying one no longer requires setting up a separate TON-compatible wallet; the acquisition path now folds entirely into the messaging app itself. The last identity checkpoint on a market already trading branded digital property at seven figures has just been removed.

Singapore’s Liquid-Cooling Standard Forces the Retrofit Decision ASEAN Data Centers Cannot Delay

Brand Risk Watch

Singapore’s SS 726:2026, launched August 27, is the world’s first liquid-cooling standard built for tropical climates, targeting a failure mode efficiency targets alone can’t fix: humidity-driven corrosion and cooling drift that push air-cooled facilities well past their commissioned PUE within three to five years. Every existing ASEAN data center portfolio now faces a capital-allocation choice — retrofit at 15–25% of build cost, or build new for liquid cooling from the start. The standard’s real edge isn’t the 30%-plus energy savings; it’s the maintenance-cost curve air-cooled assets in the tropics can’t match.

So what? This week’s shifts — a certification deadline, a custody-free asset transfer, a climate-driven infrastructure mandate — all force a decision under compressed timelines and incomplete information. Technicity’s systems exist to close that gap before the deadline does. See the live systems →
